The Watford Observer confirmed that the club had agreed a deal that would involve all home matches being committed to video tape for the first time, claiming that highlights of all matches would be selected and available to the board, their guests and the press for viewing within half-an-hour of the final whistle.

Manager Graham Taylor was cautious however, saying: "Obviously video will be shown to the players to illustrate certain points, but I'm not in favour of continually showing players their mistakes."

Shame there are no videos of the League Cup games thrashing Southampton 7-1 unbeaten all season prior to this game and Forest 4-1 Euro Champs in the League Cup just before filming started.

If we play Southampton in a cup this season we can replicate the score as their squad is no better than Blackpool's.

Funnily enough only the other day I was watching my old 1990/91 season 'highlights' video which I got converted to DVD.

Shocking quality with the cameraman missing goals etc because he couldn't keep up with play but a great trip down memory lane.
