East End 'rage trade tycoon' Leslie Wise, who had made an unsuccessful attempt to take over the Hornets, stormed out of the club's annual general meeting after the club's retiring directors Jim Bonser, Neville Ovenden and Muir Stratford were re-elected without a vote.
In the wake of protests from shareholders, chairman Bonser skipped the scheduled directors' report and closed the meeting within 15 minutes.
