Watford have made the perfect start to their Championship opener with Bolton Wanderers. At half-time the Hornets lead 2-0 thanks to goals from Troy Deeney and Matej Vydra.
Deeney, who has been the subject of several bids from Premier League sides this summer, netted the opener in the 16th minute.
A long pass forward from Gabriele Angella put the striker through and he lifted the ball over Andy Lonergan from close range.
The Hornets have been excellent throughout the opening 45 minutes of their Championship campaign and Vydra doubled their advantage.
The Czech international scampered on to a long pass forward, collected the ball and cut back past Tim Ream before firing through the legs of Lonergan.
