Rotherham United and Watford go into half-time level at the New York Stadium.
Neither side created much of note as the Golden Boys wasted several counter-attack opportunities with sloppy passing.
Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes saved well from Ben Pringle and Rotherham’s Lee Frecklington had an effort deflected narrowly wide just before the break.
The Golden Boys made five changes to their starting XI and left a few first team regulars back in Hertfordshire ahead of Saturday’s match with Leeds United.
