Fernando Forestieri was the official man of the match following Watford's 4-1 win against Leeds United yesterday but who was your star performer as the Hornets rose to second in the early-season table.

Forestieri is also among our candidates after scoring twice and gaining a penalty in a superb all-round display for Beppe Sannino's men, while the man who netted the Hornets' fourth with his first goal for the club, Daniel Tozser, is also included.

Gianni Munari didn't get on the scoresheet but he justified retaining his place in the side with an effective display in midfield that featured some eye-catching runs into the penalty area.

The fourth selection is Tommie Hoban, who switched from playing left-back in the 2-0 win at Rotherham United to lining up on the right side of the back three yesterday but again produced a solid display at the back.

I felt the whole team were star Men and I felt Troy Deeney and Tommy
Hoban had excellent games also
I had a terrible journey down from Birmingham but it was well worth the
trouble to see the Hornet's Rampant
I think the real test will be away games and if we can sort out the problems we will have a good season

Fernando will win this hands down, deservedly so. But Troy was his usual industrious and quality self, Tommie Hoban has given Beppe yet another headache with 2 very good performances and could have had a goal too with a free header in the first half. Munari seems to be getting better game by game and his movement off the ball causes opponents lots of problems at times. We certainly didnt play our best, but if we win 4-1 playing badly then imagine what we can do when we play well.

Does anyone else think Almen was a bit off the pace yesterday? His touch was sloppy imo and his passing wasn't up to his usual standard. Nothing to worry about yet, but something to keep an eye, certainly.

You are absolutely right. I thought Troy gave a captains performance. He was everywhere and barking out orders all the time. Tommy gave another assured performance as did Munari. Fessi was himself back to his best causing havoc in the Leeds defence. But let us not get carried away this was a very poor Leeds and we will surely face a sterner test in the weeks to come. Onto Tuesday night and then another three points from Huddersfield next Saturday.

Just imagine how much better it will be once the players get into a rhythm
And they have a greater understanding with each other
We were all overly optimistic last season (me especially)and we may need to temper our enthusiasm slightly but not our belief in this squad and what
It can achieve. We can all be positive, hoping BP can deal with his and some players issues.

I personally think that Gianni Munari was an unsung hero, he didn't put a foot wrong was also involved in Forestieri's second magical goal by winning a challenge and picking out the option to use FF on the left. He even had half a chance at goal with his head and i don't think he has had enough credit. Looking forward to seeing more of this guy.
