Graham Taylor was born in Worksop.
Over three spells as manager at Watford, he would achieve five promotions, a hitherto unthinkable league runners-up spot, countless cup upsets and a UEFA Cup run, all of which were attained playing exhilarating, attacking football.
He would also fundamentally change the outlook of the club, taking a lead role in initiatives that encouraged families to attend games at Vicarage Road and cultivate links with the local community.
