As the ball dropped to Matej Vydra on the edge of the penalty area there was no hesitation. He rifled his half volley into the net. It proved enough to secure a 2-1 win over Brentford and is an early contender for goal of the season.
Vydra was excellent in the first half against the Bees and it was his superb strike on 70 minutes which proved to be the difference between the teams.
