Watford could find it difficult against a motivated Reading side this weekend in Steve Clarke’s first game in charge.
The Hornets go into the match off the back of two wins while the Royals have a new manager after Clarke replaced the sacked Nigel Adkins.
Reading are without a victory in the last five matches and their last outing resulted in a humilating 6-1 defeat at Birmingham City.
But former West Brom boss Clarke should be able to provoke a response from his team and the draw at 12/5 stands out with William Hill especially as three of the last six meetings have finished all square.
Watford have got their promotion bid back on track after wins over Fulham and Wigan but the ‘new manager effect’ at Reading is enough to put me off suggesting an away win at 8/5 with Paddy Power.
Troy Deeney has returned to form in the last fortnight with five goals in his last two games.
The striker can keep this run going and looks generously priced at 13/8 with Coral to find the net at Reading.
