Uche Ikpeazu will remain on loan at Crewe Alexandra until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old, whose initial deal with the Railwayman expired yesterday, but is to stay with the League One club after scoring two goals in eight appearances in the third tier to date.

This is the forward’s second loan spell at Crewe, having netted four times in a total of 15 appearances in the second half of last season.

Ikpeazu has yet to play for Watford’s first team since he moved from Reading in the summer of 2013, following a campaign in which he was the top Academy scorer in the country.
