The Hornets are not close to completing a deal for Lithuanian goalkeeper Giedrius Arlauskis contrary to reports, the Watford Observer understands.
Reports in Italy have stated Udinese are close to signing the free agent and suggested that he will join the Golden Boys next season.
One website even suggested the 27-year-old may link-up with the Hornets this season to train ahead of a loan switch in the summer.
However, we understand no such agreement has been reached and the Golden Boys have no immediate plans to recruit Arlauskis.
The goalkeeper has 19 caps for Lithuania and lists Steaua Bucharest and Rubin Kazan among his former clubs.
