Watford are worth backing to maintain their automatic promotion push with a home win over Fulham tonight.

Five wins in the last six matches have seen the Hornets climb up to fourth and just three points off the top. Their latest victory came at Leeds United on Saturday and free-scoring Watford are deserving 3/4 favourites with Coral.

The Cottagers shocked Derby County at the weekend but their form prior to this has been poor.

Kit Symons' side have gone eight games without a win away from home, stretching back to December, so Watford will be confident of beating 19th placed Fulham.

Slavisa Jokanovic's outfit thrashed them 5-0 at Craven Cottage back in December when Troy Deeney scored a hat-trick.

The striker has three goals in his last four games so backing him to net tonight at 11/8 with Betfred is advised.

It is tempting to take up Paddy Power's offer of 15/8 on Deeney scoring in a home win.

Watford have frequently been more effective in the second half of games recently with five of their last six matches having more goals after half time.

Paddy Power are offering evens on the second half being the highest scoring at Vicarage Road tonight which could prove a profitable bet.
