Watford are odds-on to maintain their automatic promotion push with a victory at third bottom Millwall this weekend.

The Hornets are third in the Championship after losing just one of their last nine matches and impressed in a dominant home win over fellow title challengers Middlesbrough on Easter Monday.

With their current form, it is no real surprise to see them chalked up at 4/5 (Ladbrokes) to win but the trip to South London may not be as straightforward as people think.

The Lions are unbeaten in three games and have also had a few days extra rest after not playing since their 2-1 win over Charlton Athletic on Good Friday.

Millwall, available at 7/2 (Coral) for the win, are desperate for the points. The side are seven points behind fourth bottom Rotherham United but have improved under new boss Neil Harris.

Last season’s home clash ended 2-2 and with two of Millwall’s last three games finishing all-square, it could be worth backing the draw at 13/5 with Betfred.

Troy Deeney remains in superb scoring form with eight goals in his last ten games. The Watford striker should have the chance to add to this tally at an appealing 11/8 (Betfred).
