Fernando Forestieri is fit to face Birmingham City on Saturday but Watford will have to make a late decision on Matthew Connolly.
Forestieri has been out of action due to a knee problem since the Hornets' win over Wigan Athletic in mid-March - missing five fixtures - but yesterday (Thursday) the club stated he could face Gary Rowett's side after returning to training.
However, Connolly was substituted due to a tight hamstring in Wednesday's 3-1 win at Nottingham Forest and the club said ‘a late decision’ would need to be taken on the defender’s availability.
Sean Murray and Joel Ekstrand (both knee) remain the Golden Boys' only long-term absentees.
Two players who will not be able to face Watford are loanees Diego Fabbrini and Lloyd Dyer, both of whom are on loan at St Andrew's from the Hornets.
Football League rules now prohibit players who are on loan from playing against their parent club.
