Watford head coach Slavisa Jokanovic says there will “very soon be news” regarding his future with the Hornets.
The Serbian arrived at Vicarage Road in October and guided the Golden Boys to promotion to the Premier League and a second place finish in the Championship.
However, his contract with Watford expires this summer and there has been speculation linking the former Chelsea midfielder with top flight sides.
Jokanovic stresses he would like to remain with the Hornets and, speaking after his side’s 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday, said: “Now we have finished the Championship it is time to talk about the club’s future, the team’s future and my future.
“There will very soon be news about my next steps. I am happy here. It is a great club who gave me a great chance. I believe I have done a good job and I believe I have given them a little back.
“Now we must continue our life and start thinking about what is best for all of us.”
