Watford have announced season tickets for new applicants will go on sale on Friday but only to fans who have a specific buying history against the Fan ID in the past three years.

The 2015/2016 campaign will see the Hornets compete in the Premier League and welcome the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool to Vicarage Road Stadium.

Around 11,400 Golden Boys fans have already renewed their season ticket for the next campaign and the club now want to reward loyal supporters who have yet to secure their place.

So fans who hold a season ticket and/or league match ticket buying history (cup games and play-off matches are excluded) against their Fan ID since July 2012 can purchase their seat from 10am on Friday through the club’s website.

Subject to availability, season tickets sales would then widen to fans with a purchasing history against their Fan ID from the summer of 2007 and then from the summer of 2002.

The third phase of ticket prices sees an adult season ticket in the Rookery and Lower Graham Taylor Stand priced at £505, which works out at £26.58 per match.

An adult season ticket in the Sir Elton John Stand is £565, in the Upper Graham Taylor Stand it is £650 and it will cost £445 for an adult season ticket in the Vicarage Road Stand.

The club had 11,804 season ticket holders this season and have decided to cap next season’s sales at around 13,500 in order to leave sufficient tickets for individual match sales.

Watford have also confirmed regular visitors to Vicarage Road with ‘a strong buying history’ will receive priority next season when purchasing individual tickets.

The Golden Boys’ stadium can hold 20,400 fans when seats that are covered to separate home and away supporters and those below pitch level are omitted.

The complimentary ticket allocation is understood to be around 1,000 while away fans make up around 2,250.
