Spartan South Midlands Premier Division champions Kings Langley will face Watford and Queens Park Rangers in pre-season as they prepare for life in the Southern League.

Paul Hughes and Ritchie Hanlon’s men will host the Hornets’ Under-21 side on July 21 before Rangers’ Under-21s visit Gaywood Park on July 25.

Kings kick off pre-season at former Premier Division rivals Sun Sports on July 7 before visiting Oxhey Jets on July 11. They then visit Edgware Town’s Silver Jubilee Park on July 14.

A trip to familiar foes Berkhamsted is next up on July 28, before Conference South side Hemel Hempstead face Town on July 30.

Meanwhile, the Comrades will be holding work parties on Saturday and Sunday as they look to get their Broadwater ground up to scratch ahead of the new season. All supporters are welcome.

Mick Vipond’s men kick off their own pre-season fixture schedule with a home game against a Global Performance XI on July 18. A trip to Winslow United follows three days later before Conference South side St Albans City host Berko on July 23.

Berkhamsted travel to Bovingdon on July 30 before completing pre-season on August 1 at home to Aylesbury.

St Margaretsbury will travel to Berkhamsted on August 4 in the Herts Charity Shield Tring Athletic will host Isthmian Premier Division side Hendon on July 14 before Royston Town visit Cow Lane three days later.

A trip to New Bradwell St Peter of Spartan South Midlands Division Two follows on July 21 and another trip to Northampton Spencer is pencilled in for July 25.

Aylesbury visit Tring on July 28 and 48 hours later, Julian Robinson’s men go to Risborough Rangers. Their final friendly is at home to Kidlington on August 1.

Tring travel to Hatfield Town in the Herts Charity Shield on August 4.

Leverstock Green also face New Bradwell St Peter at home (July 18), with visits from Hanwell Town (July 21) and Kidlington (July 25) after. Levy face a trip to FC Broxbourne Borough in the Herts Charity Shield.
