Genoa winger Diego Perotti has turned down Watford, according to reports in Italy, as he is in favour of a move to Serie A side Napoli.
The Hornets had a club record £7million bid accepted by Genoa last weekend and had offered the Argentine, who has twice been capped by his country, a contract which would double his wages to £30,000-a-week.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport have today reported that Perotti has rejected the Golden Boys’ offer as he is keen to link up with new Napoli head coach Maurizio Sarri.
