Matej Vydra’s move to Watford is to be made permanent after Udinese began to express a wish to sell the striker, the Watford Observer understands.
We understand reports this evening that the 23-year-old will make his switch from the fellow Pozzo-owened Serie A club to the Hornets permanent are correct, although the club have refused to comment.
The Watford Observer revealed on June 4 that the Czech Republic international would be returning to the Golden Boys on a new two-year loan. That deal was agreed but we understand Udinese then started to express a desire to sell Vydra and the Hornets were able to agree terms to make his move to Vicarage Road permanent.
As we reported earlier today, Vydra returned to the club's London Colney base for the start of pre-season training ahead of the 2015/16 Premier League campaign.
The striker has so far scored 36 league goals in his two loan spells at Vicarage Road, having spent a year on loan in between in the top flight with West Bromwich Albion.
