Watford supporters who have spent countless weekends travelling up and down the country over the last three years to watch the Hornets will receive priority when buying away tickets for the forthcoming Premier League campaign.

The Golden Boys announced their away ticket sales policy today and after analysing their recent 'Supporters Say' survey have devised, with help from their data partner Goodform, three groups which will reward fans who have an away ticket purchase history under their Fan ID since July 2012.

A total of 2,776 supporters in Group A will have first option on tickets; they are season ticket holders who have six or more away league match ticket purchases under Fan ID in the past three years.

Group B consists of 581 non season ticket holders who have the same buying history to those in Group A.

Group C is made up of 10,724 season ticket holders who have less than six away league match ticket purchases under their Fan ID in the same period.

The number of supporters in those three groups are likely to change over the course of the campaign as fans attend matches.

However, Hornets supporters who do not fall into either of those three groups do have the chance of attending an away match.

That is because Watford, when practical, reserve the right to hold back ten per cent of an away ticket allocation.

So fans from a number of different club initiatives - such as remote or exiled supporters with a Fan Card or Junior Hornets members and parents - can join a cross-section of season ticket holders in Group C in purchasing away tickets.

To buy away tickets for the 2015/2016 campaign when they go on sale visit www.watfordfctickets.co.uk, ring the club ticket office 01923 223023 or go to the match-day ticket office under the Rookery Stand.
