Watford have announced they will pay their respects to Hornets fan Chris Dyer, who was murdered in the terrorist attack in Tunisia last month, ahead of their Premier League match with West Bromwich Albion.

The Golden Boys have been in discussions with Chris’ family as to how they would honour his memory and, in accordance with the family’s wishes, will do so before Watford’s first home game of their Premier League campaign on August 15.

Chris, 32, was one of the 38 people killed during the attack after he was shot in the head with an AK47.

He and his wife Gina Van Dort, 30, ran for cover into the Imperial Marhaba hotel garden in Sousse, where the couple were on holiday, but while Gina managed to survive after she was shot in the chin, Chris sadly was killed.

A gofundme page was started following Chris' death and has so far raised more than £10,000 for his family.
