Watford are considered favourites to beat away specialists Crystal Palace at Vicarage Road in the televised clash on Sunday.

The Eagles have soared up the Premier League since Alan Pardew took over at the start of the year and have based this on superb away form with eight wins on the road from just 11 matches.

This exceptionally impressive record, which featured a win at the champions Chelsea last month, indicates Palace are a big price at 2/1 with William Hill this weekend.

The visitors have lost their last two games but there is no disgrace in losing to Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur so it does look like Pardew's side have been underestimated slightly.

Watford are 8/5 favourites with Betfred mainly due to back-to-back wins over Newcastle United and Swansea City. They have been given plenty of respect by the bookmakers and there is no urge to rush in on short prices for a home win.

There has been just one draw for Palace in the league since Pardew took charge so it looks like it is worth swerving this result at 12/5 (Betfred) for a team that does not tend to produce stalemates.

Odion Ighalo is the man of the moment and the Watford striker, who has four goals already this season, looks worth backing at 23/10 to score anytime with Ladbrokes.
