Alan Pardew believes Watford are a "super club", has revealed he once tried to sign Troy Deeney and admitted he is a "big fan" of Elton John.
The Crystal Palace boss spoke to the media this lunchtime ahead of Sunday's live televised clash with the Hornets at Vicarage Road and was complimentary about how Quique Sanchez Flores' men have adapted to the Premier League and the threat they pose.
Pardew said the trip to Vicarage Road will be a "very, very tricky fixture for us" but feels it will be a "good game" and he "can imagine" Watford have an "extra incentive" because of the play-off final defeat they suffered against the Eagles in 2013.
