Quique Sanchez Flores does not think he is picking a weakened team tomorrow at West Ham United and insists he has complete confidence in the Watford side which will face the Hammers.

The Hornets head coach has admitted he will make a lot of changes to his team in a move designed to keep the squad fresh for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Crystal Palace.

The Spaniard, whose side are 12th in the Premier League, said: “I have complete confidence in the first XI I’m going to choose tomorrow. I’m really curious to know how they develop and the characteristics of the players.

"I think it’s very interesting to know how they will be competitive against an amazing team in West Ham."

Heurelho Gomes will start in goal for Watford but the rest of the team is likely to be significantly different to the side which won at West Brom on Saturday.

Craig Cathcart and Jose Holebas have recovered from the knocks which kept them out of the squad at the Hawthorns.

Flores said: “In respect of the shape we are not going to change a lot because we are training with the same system or very similar every time.

"But in terms of the players everyone in the squad knows we are going to change a lot. Practically all the players are going to change and play so we will use a lot of new players for the next match."

Flores has made changes during most of the games during the second half of the season and believes all the players that feature at Upton Park will be ready to compete.

He said: “Tomorrow the plan is normal having to play three matches in one week. I want all the squad fresh for the weekend. I want to choose between a full squad so that is the idea.

"We are trying to be competitive but not trying players just trusting players."

Flores added: “There will be a lot of changes but it’s not a surprise because all the time we change four or five every single match in the second half of the season.

"It’s coming like this so in the second half of the season we feel this is a necessity that we need to change and try something. We needed a reaction a couple of times during the second half of the season so we needed to change players.

"Now in this moment all the players changing between the matches is not a surprise and they should be ready."
