Watford are 2/1 outsiders to defeat Crystal Palace on Sunday in their FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

The Hornets won 2-1 at Selhurst Park in February's last meeting but bookmakers make the Eagles favourites to reach the FA Cup final.

Quique Sanchez Flores' side stunned Arsenal in the last-eight of the competition but are available at 2/1 with Ladbrokes to win in 90 minutes.

Alan Pardew's side endured a terrible run of form with a 14-game winless run in the Premier League between December and April.

But a recent victory over Norwich halted their slide and Palace are 29/20 favourites with William Hill to overcome Watford.

This looks a potentially cagey clash and support has come in for the draw which is a best price of 23/10 with Paddy Power.

Neither team has scored regularly during the second half of the season and it is easy to see the Wembley clash being a tense, low scoring contest.

Backing under 2.5 goals looks too short now with 4/6 (William Hill) the best you can get. But it could be worth backing under 1.5 goals with the same firm at 21/10.

If you fancy Watford to reach next month's final, taking the insurance of extra time and penalties may be wise and the Hornets are 11/10 (Coral) to qualify.

The two sides met at Wembley three years ago when a penalty in the 105th minute from Kevin Phillips fired Palace to a 1-0 win and promotion in the Championship play-off final.

It could be a long afternoon again and either side can be backed at 10/1 to win on penalties with William Hill. In an evenly matched game these do not look the worst bets on offer.
