FC Porto are reportedly not interested in signing Watford defender Miguel Layun on a permanent deal this summer.
The Mexico international is currently on a season-long loan at Porto with an option to buy him for €6million.
But Portuguese sports newspaper A Bola has claimed Porto are not interested in signing him permanently.
Layun, who joined Watford in January 2015, initially struggled to adapt to the English game and the central midfield position he was utilised in by Slavisa Jokanovic but made 17 appearances as the Hornets won promotion from the Championship.
The 27-year-old scored in Watford's 2-2 draw at Everton on the opening day of the season and made three other appearances before joining Porto at the start of September.
