Watford Under-21s claimed their first Professional Development League Two South win since December after beating Charlton Athletic 2-0 at Clarence Park.
Harry Kewell's side got off to an ideal start inside two minutes when striker Alex Jakubiak turned in Sean Murray's corner.
Jakubiak nearly extended the hosts' lead but his effort was cleared off the line.
The Hornets made it 2-0 just after the half-hour mark when Murray again provided the assist after his corner was headed home by Tommie Hoban.
Charlton threatened during the second half but substitute goalkeeper Luke Simpson did well to save efforts from Nassim L'Ghoul and Michael Kennedy.
Watford: Gilmartin (Simpson, HT); Lewis (Doherty), Johnson, Hoban, Young; Murray, Charles, Stewart, Mensah; Adeyemo, Jakubiak (Byers)
