Quique Sanchez Flores says he is leaving Watford this summer because the club and him do not share the same view of their season.
The Hornets boss confirmed his departure this summer and his final game will be at home to Sunderland on Sunday.
The Spaniard has guided Watford to safety in the Premier League and the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
But their league form has been poor during the second half of the season with owner Gino Pozzo deciding to end Flores' tenure halfway through his two-year contract.
Flores said: “Yesterday we had a meeting with the club to make a review of the season and after that I confirmed the club and I do not have the same point of view about the season.
"We don’t have the necessary conditions to activate the clause to renew the contract. The contract finishes at the end of June and then I will leave Watford."
