Watford received more than £74m in TV and prize money from the Premier League last season.

The Hornets finished 13th in the top flight and their overall total received was £74,571,128.

Every club in the Premier League were given £21,924,800 as their equal share of the UK broadcast revenue.

All of the teams also received £29,415,848 each for overseas TV rights and £4,509,152 for the central commercial revenue. 

Ten Watford games were shown live and the club received £8,782,088 for the facility fees which is paid out each time a match is broadcast in the UK.

The Hornets earned £9,939,240 in merit payment which is the prize money for their finishing position in the league.

Leicester City received £24,848,100 in this category after their shock title triumph. 

Arsenal may have missed out on the title but Arsene Wenger's side received the most money overall with their 27 live matches helping them earn a total of £100,952,257. Their facility fees were highest with a total of £21,496,762.

Leicester received £93,219,598 overall which was only the fifth highest last season.

Bottom side Aston Villa unsurprisingly were the lowest team in terms of payments after earning £66,622,215.

The overall total paid out to the 20 clubs last season was £1,638,805,918.
