Watford defender Craig Cathcart has been selected in Northern Ireland's squad for Euro 2016.

Cathcart was named in the provisional 28-man squad and has made the cut, as expected, after Michael O'Neill confirmed his final group of 23 for next month's tournament in France.

The Hornets centre-back played the whole game in last night's 3-0 home victory over Belarus.

Former Watford defender Lee Hodson has also been named in Northern Ireland's squad for their first major tournament appearance since 1986.

Their final warm-up game is on Saturday in Slovakia before the group travel to their Euro 2016 base near Lyon to prepare for their opening match against Poland on June 12.
