Watford have been linked with a move for experienced Colombia full-back Juan Camilo Zuniga.
Napoli are expected to complete the signing of Piotr Zielinski and this is likely to result in Zuniga switching to Udinese.
It is understood Udinese, owned by the Pozzos, would then move Zuniga to Watford this summer.
The 30-year-old played under new Hornets head coach Walter Mazzarri at Napoli.
Versatile wing-back Zuniga is no stranger to the Italian's 3-5-2 system which he is expected to introduce at Watford and Mazzarri could be interested in bringing him to the Premier League.
Zuniga has won 62 caps for Colombia and helped his country reach the quarter-finals of the 2014 World Cup.
