Watford target Roberto Pereyra is close to a move from Serie A champions Juventus to runners-up Napoli.

The midfielder was linked to the Hornets earlier in the summer by the Italian media but his agent has this week said the player's preference is a move to Naples.

A €10.5million move had been mooted for the Argentinian international, but the Italian champions reportedly demanded at least €13.5m to help them pay for the signing of Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic.

His agent told CalcioNapoli this week that he was expecting to meet representatives from Napoli to thrash out a deal, with issues with the player's image rights still to be resolved.
