Roberto Pereyra has completed his long-awaited move to Watford from Italian champions Juventus, signing a five-year deal at Vicarage Road.
Following a successful medical earlier today the 25-year-old, who has been capped 10 times by Argentina, put pen to paper to sign for Walter Mazzarri's side, but he will not be able to play in their first home game of the season tomorrow, as he is still awaiting a work permit.
The midfielder was close to joining Napoli earlier this summer, and has reportedly been chased by Arsenal during the transfer window, but Watford have now beaten off competition for his signature.
His number is yet to be confirmed but he will most likely take the vacant number eight shirt left nameless by Mazzarri last week, and, having played centrally in Turin, most likely fill the creative-midfield void which the Italian has previously spoken about.
