Watford have completed the signing of Anderlecht striker Stefano Okaka.

The Italian international has moved to Vicarage Road after agreeing a five-year deal with the Premier League club.

The Hornets sold Matej Vydra to Derby County on Saturday and have moved quickly signing Okaka to bolster their attacking options with the transfer window shutting on Wednesday.

Okaka netted 17 goals last season for Anderlecht but he has not been a prolific scorer throughout his career.

The striker started off at Roma before a series of loan spells including a move to Fulham in 2010 where he netted two goals.

After moving to Parma, Okaka joined Sampdoria and was then sold to Anderlecht for £2.5m last summer.

But the powerful striker can look forward to his second spell in English football and becomes the Hornets' ninth signing of the summer.

Okaka scored on his Italy debut against Albania in 2014 and has won four caps although he was not picked for Euro 2016.
