The Hornets are favourites to put their miserable defeat at Burnley behind them by beating Bournemouth this weekend.

Watford were well beaten on Monday but are still a short price at 11/8 with Ladbrokes to bounce back with a win.

This looks somewhat stingy considering their last performance and the fact Eddie Howe’s side defeated Everton last weekend.

The Cherries pulled off an excellent win in their last match and may have some support at 23/10 (Coral).

But Bournemouth have won just one of their last 14 trips to Watford so history is against the visitors.

The draw is available at 12/5 with Betfred and this is well worth consideration. Four of the last five meetings have finished level so this looks the best bet in this market.

There have been less than three goals in the last six clashes between the sides so backing under 2.5 goals could be profitable at 5/6 with Coral.

Etienne Capoue has netted four goals in six league appearances this season and the midfielder is 5/1 to add to his tally (Paddy Power).
