Walter Mazzarri insists goalscorer Isaac Success needs to improve his defensive qualities to become one of Watford's best strikers.

The Nigerian came off the bench to score his first goal for the club and rescue a point at home to Bournemouth.

Success is still waiting for his first start for the Hornets and their head coach believes the forward needs to improve his work all over the pitch to become a regular in their team.

Mazzarri said: “Success has always played very well when he has come on.

"The only thing he needs now is more continuity and to help even more the team because as we’ve seen in today’s modern football strikers need to run up and down the whole pitch and help the team.

"This is what Success needs to understand and if he gets this then he will be one of the most important strikers we have."
