Watford starlet Adalberto Penaranda, currently on loan at Udinese, is a January target for Europa League winners Sevilla, according to reports.

Penaranda is seen as one of the brightest prospects at Vicarage Road, but has seen precious little action in Serie A since his season-long move, and has played only 129 minutes for the fellow Pozzo-owned club.

If reports in Venezuela and Spain are true, Sevilla may be too much of a lure to resist for the 19-year-old, who scored five times in 23 games for Granada in La Liga last season in another loan spell, with one of those strikes coming against his new suitors.

Luciano Vietto and Wissam Ben Yedder have both been below-par for the Spanish side this season, while fellow striker Carlos Fernández has been ruled out with a long-term injury.

Penaranda first signed for Watford in February this year, but is yet to make an appearance in a Hornets shirt.
