Watford have been linked with a move for Olympiakos right-back Omar Elabdellaoui.

National press reports suggest the Hornets are in competition with Hull City over the 24-year-old's signature.

The competition is likely to have emerged with the Tigers now under the management of Marco Silva, who was in charge at Olympiakos until earlier this year.

Elabdellaoui was a member of Manchester City's academy until he was released in 2013, and joined the Greek champions a year later.

In last year's winter transfer window, he was reportedly on the radar of Manchester United, but a transfer never materialised.

He has 23 caps for his country since making his debut in August 2013.
