Aston Villa will pay their respects to Graham Taylor this weekend and his family will be guests at the Preston North End home match.

Taylor enjoyed two spells at Villa Park during his managerial career leading them to second place in the top flight in 1990.

The legendary manager's family will attend Saturday's game along with former players who worked under him.

A minute's applause will take place prior to kick-off in the Championship match.

Steve Staunton, the last Villa skipper to play under Taylor, will lay a wreath on the centre circle after the sides enter the pitch.

This follows the emotional tributes at Vicarage Road which took place last weekend celebrating the life of Watford's greatest manager.
