Watford are understood to have agreed a £3m fee with Hull City for midfielder Adlene Guedioura.
The Algeria international has only just returned from playing in the Africa Cup of Nations but is heading for the exit door after the Hornets accepted an offer from their Premier League rivals.
Guedioura has made 17 appearances this season but has struggled to impress in the top-flight for Watford.
Walter Mazzarri has to limit his Premier League squad to 17 foreign players from the start of next month and a deal for Guedioura seems an obvious move.
Hull desperately need players to boost their chances of avoiding relegation and the fact Watford are willing to sell him underlines the 31-year-old is not part of their first-team plans.
