Watford duo Miguel Britos and Kiko Femenia could be fit for tomorrow's trip to Crystal Palace, with the pair back in training but facing a race against time to play a part in Marco Silva's squad at Selhurst Park.
The defenders both missed Saturday's away day at Burnley, but Femenia's injury was described by the head coach as being only minor and partly down to fatigue.
The weekend's weather has not helped either's cause, with Watford's preparations not ideal amid heavy snow, but Silva could have a strengthened squad in time for tomorrow's game.
"We’re still in recovery with the players, we’ll work again today with them. We’ll see how they are, but nothing special and no big problems," he said.
"We’ll try to get Britos and Kiko back. Britos is more difficult, and we’ll see with Kiko. Kiko is a matter of days and a matter of hours, it’s nothing special but there’s some fatigue too and we need to see if he is 100 per cent to play."
