Juan Camilo Hernandez scored his 11th goal of the season to help Huesca to a 2-1 win over Numancia on Sunday.
The victory keeps Huesca on track to lift the Spanish Segunda Division title as they maintained a one point lead over second-place Cadiz at the summit of the table.
Hernandez’s strike proved to be the winner as he stepped up to dispatch a 76nd minute penalty and score his sixth goal in his last nine outings.
Elsewhere, Nordin Amrabat couldn’t prevent Leganes going down to a 3-2 La Liga loss to Real Betis last night.
The winger saw his side twice come from behind to level the scores through Gerard and Javier Eraso, only for Ruben Casto’s 83rd minute penalty to give the hosts victory.
