Gino Pozzo is set to meet Barcelona’s general manager to finalise a deal for Gerard Deulofeu, it is being reported in Spain.
Pep Segura is currently in Brazil but plans to hold talks with the Watford owner when he returns next week, Sport is reporting.
The former Everton loanee has made no secret of his wish to leave the Camp Nou this summer and has refused to rule out a return to Vicarage Road, having joined the Hornets on loan in January.
The Catalan giants are said to want a permanent move for the player who is out of contract at the end of next season and will accept less than Deulofeu’s release clause of €20 million, although it is said they want a percentage of any future sale.
The former Everton loanee scored one goal in seven appearances during his injury-hit spell with Watford.
