A Watford XI will take on Stevenage in a pre-season friendly clash next month.
The game takes place at Boro’s Lamex Stadium on Friday, July 27 (kick-off 7.30pm) and will see the Hornets field a mix of first-team and under-23 players.
With Watford taking on Brentford the following day, it is likely the game will be used to give a number of lesser used players a chance to impress.
Tickets for the match can be purchased at borotickets.co.uk, with adult and concession tickets costing £12, under-19 £10 and under-12 £5.
The announcement of the game against League Two Boro sees Watford’s pre-season schedule continue to take shape, with the game against Brentwood the next day being followed by the Graham Taylor Matchday on August 4.
