Nordin Amrabat played in an unfamiliar right-back role as Morocco completed their World Cup preparation with a 3-1 defeat of Estonia on Saturday.

The Watford winger, who spent last season on loan with La Liga side Leganes, played just over an hour.

It took only 11 minutes for Morocco to take the lead as Younes Belhanda found the net before Hakim Ziyech doubled the advantage from the penalty spot.

The result was put beyond doubt when Youssef En-Newsyri made it 3-0 in the 72nd minute, despite Ats Purje netting a consolation for Estonia.

Morocco get their World Cup campaign underway when they take on Iran on Friday.

Elsewhere, Andre Carrillo played all but four minutes of Peru’s goalless stalemate with Sweden.

The result means Peru, who play Denmark, France and Australia in the group stages in Russia, have not conceded a single goal in their trio of friendlies in the build up to the World Cup.

Finally, Sebastian Prodl’s Austria were no match for Brazil as the five-time World Cup winners eased to a routine 3-0 win.

Prodl played the full 90 minutes at the Ernst Happel Stadium but couldn’t contain Brazil’s rampant attack.

Brazil are among the favourites to win the World Cup and went ahead in the 26th minute when Gabriel Jesus found the net.

They made sure of the win in the second period as Neymar and Philippe Coutinho added their names to the scoresheet.
