Kasimpasa vice president Hasan Hilmi Oksuz has revealed that reported Watford target Mahmoud Hassan has a €5 million release clause in his contract.

This is not the first tome Oksuz, who also claimed Kasimpasa have received interest from a Premier League club for the midfielder, has discussed Hassan, better known as Trezeguet, in public.

Oksuz made the admission of the release clause while speaking to Bein Sports Turkey and says any club willing to pay the fee in one up-front payment can sign Trezeguet.

Trezeguet enjoyed an impressive season for the Super Lig side as he scored 13 goals in 31 appearances to help Kasimpasa to an eighth-place finish.

Given Watford’s struggles in front of goal last season, they scored just 44 Premier League goals, a player with such a productive return from midfield carries obvious appeal.

He also laid on eight goals and has been selected to play for Egypt at the World Cup in Russia.

Any decision on Trezeguet’s future is likely to wait until after Egypt’s participation in the World Cup is over.
