The takeover of Watford Football Club has taken another huge step closer to completion after the offer document was publicised and sent to shareholders.
Watford FC Limited received “irrevocable undertakings” from major shareholders Lord Ashcroft, Graham Simpson and his wife Yianna that they would accept the offer from the newly-created company as long as the bid document was published by this Thursday.
The 86-page document was dated Friday, March 25 but sent to most of the shareholders today and it was one of 21 takeover-related attachments uploaded to the Watford Leisure Plc website today.
