Watford have agreed a fee to sign Rhoys Wiggins from Bournemouth, the Watford Observer understands.
The Hornets have been pursuing the left-back for several months and previously had two bids for the 23-year-old turned down, but their perseverance looks likely to be rewarded.
Wiggins is now set to discuss personal terms at Vicarage Road after lengthy negotiations resulted in a deal worth in the region of £250,000, the Bournemouth Daily Echo has claimed.
The former Norwich City player, who comes from Hillingdon, has made no secret of his wish to join the Hornets and handed in a transfer request in March, but this was rejected.
Wiggins would be Watford’s second signing of the summer following the capture of Craig Forsyth from Dundee last week.
