Ipswich Town have not enquired about Watford keeper Scott Loach
3:29pm Saturday 2nd June 2012 in Watford FC News By Anthony Matthews, Group Sports Editor
Suggestions that Ipswich Town have made a move for Scott Loach are wide of the mark.
It has been reported that manager Paul Jewell is interested in taking the Watford keeper back to Portman Road but claims that he has made an enquiry for the stopper are not correct, the Watford Observer understands.
The former England Under-21 keeper, who celebrated his 24th birthday last Sunday, was in Ipswich’s academy as a youngster.
Loach returned between the posts for the Hornets last game of the season and impressed against Middlesbrough, having been forced to settle for a place on the bench following the loan signing of Tomasz Kuszczak, who is now a free agent after Manchester United confirmed his release yesterday.

a good fee would have to be agreed , and a replacement is needed. I know there will be the obvious Loach slating in the next few comments so i thought id be the mature one. I wouldnt really mind if he left but he's worth something!!!

Just say when and I will get him there safely! A new tractor will do.

What's more interesting in this article is that Tomasz Kuszczak is now a free agent. Nyron came, would be nice if we could get TK. In my eyes we became a team when TK joined on loan....sorry Loachy.
Loach is a funny creature. as a shot stopper, he's decent, and Spurs offered decent money so other must think he is decent.
He just doesn't have the confidence to impose himself on the defence, and from crosses he still looks a bit shaky.
he's also very experienced for a young chap. However, the contract is up in a season so he'll go unless we sort him a new one by August

Does anyone agree that this site has become quite cumbersome since The WO have stopped listing their WFC related articles under the comments section?

Funny world, when Spurs came in for Loach first time we all wanted him to stay including you Buckler and Lutondown, or asking him back on loan rather than bench warm, now look. If he can produce the results like he did in the last game against Middlesbrough then he will be a top flight goalie!
