Looking at quite a long list there. Can't see them all staying. Hard to know what you can read into shirt numbers. Deeney keeping his is the obvious headline but big Chris at 10 seems to contradict the Sky-based reports that he's already on his way.
Personaly I would settle for for or five departures on frees or loans with the one addition of Tommy Smith. One of the new strikers has surely got to be better that what we have.

He has the number 9 in the prison team too! Can't wait for his return, we need him!
Big Chris will go, just means the number 10 shirt will be up for grabs for any new striker we bring in

He has served his punishment. Thats why prisons are there.

What he did is nothing compared to a night out with Tony Coton and Mick Harford in the 80's around the streets of Birmingham.

I am for him coming back BUT he needs to do some sort of arse licking press release. We are a family club dont forget!

not saying you're an arse, by the way, just find it funny that the word arse is allowed. I could write something about the current state about Deeney's arse, but I won't.

Currently imagining a programmer at Wobby trying to work out how to get this site to allow arsenal but automatically block arse. I'm tittering like a school kid. Did I get away with tittering? What about tit?

Players we have recently signed seem to have announced it themselves that they are coming to Watford. I'd expect something to be said in the next few days before the first competetive game against Wycombe. Like others, new rumoured signings could feature before announced in tonight's game against Gillingham.

Why's it shocking? Are you seriously saying that because someone edits something on Wikipedia the club have to comment on it? How about we just wait until if/when the actual loan/signing happens?
And will this be the season when we see a record number of players on the pitch over the course of the season with shirt numbers greater than 11?

jasonwatford says...
1:18pm Tue 7 Aug 12

Yes i am saying that...in this day and age you have to roll with the times...If a player is asked to join he should not be telling people about it until the club has confirmed all details...i guess this is all confirmed by both clubs for him to say it so why not the club tell the fans ?? I hope we start getting rid soon thou

This indicates that simply by allowing him to stay at the club, Watford tolerate convicted violent individuals.

Not the most positive message to the younger fans and players.

I think a prison sentence says enough. Anyway he's not a great player so he'll be gone sooner or later

That photo of TD seems to show that both his tits and his arse are a little on the large size. Ahhh, I feel so much better now. I got censored a couple of days ago for saying that Luton fans were a bunch of resentful ****. Doesn't seem fair somehow, does it?

Are you sure the censorship wasn't for using the L word ?

Anyway where's "Gay-Joe" - has he signed or not ?

And I got banned for calling some one the alternative for Richard
Three times in a row granted, so yep maybe I was pushing it a tad!
So anyone disagrees with me going forward you'll know it when I call you Richard

Hear hear. I think you'll find the lovely Mr Deeney - he who stamps on people's heads because he can't control himself - will be moved on pretty swiftly once he's out.

The England national team also demonstrates honest clean living footballers..... I am afraid to say that the majority of clubs in the world will have one or two dubious individuals these days - sad but true but I would not tar Deeney with the same brush as Lee Hughes!

Deeny should never pull on the club shirt again. Even if he is not let go by the club (which I doubt) he is not good enough and will not feature again. By the time he comes out of clink we will have the striking situation well sorted. Goodbye to a very average player who will probably end up in league 2 (if he's lucky).

So you really think that Deeny, Iwelumo, Dickinson and Doyley have a future at the club? No chance. Zola will be shipping them out fairly rapidly.

It would be a disgrace for WFC to ever have Deeny putting on a Watford shirt again. Has anyone read what Deeny actually did? He was brutal and thus the long prison sentence he was given. Sack him - NOW. If he wants compensation for the sack - let him sue. He'd be laughed out of court. You who are excusing him - just think. Would you invite him to your home?

Yes Feff I would. He's made a bad mistake but not one that should finish his life or career. There are far worse walking the streets, thanks to our pc police force judges and that cess pit of central government EU, and what's worse we are inviting murderers, terrorists and rapists here on a daily basis.
Fact is he won't play for us simply because we will be too far above his level when he emerges, having done his time.
