Me and Buckler met Saturday at Derby by chance and realised we already knew each other.
I just read official site and GFZ comments on the 6 new boys signed last week, he clearly knows them and becoming clearer that he must of helped pick them from the "Udin Pool" of available players.

Promises need time to deliver, and November is maybe too soon. Nani/Duxburys West Ham track record, although disturbing, is not relevant here---the important thing is how they perform at Watford. It is too soon to be negative
What is thatl about negative nellys, hopefully your not going to just go and lick the window but ask real relevant questions of them. Like when the East stand is going to be sorted, why they don't introduce cash turnstiles to increase the attendance and why is there so much negative feedback coming from the academy players and why he still has a team of deadwood knocking around and why has he not kicked them into touch yet and finally will they stand by their words here unlike their West Ham track record of broken promises!!! As you can guess I can't make it but sure would like answers to the above and no I don't think I am negative to ask questions just want a few concerns to be answered and make another step to earn our respect!

So far everything the new owners and management have done has been applauded by the masses. All the loan players lacking in fitness we are told Italy are two weeks behind us and yet Udinese would have started early because of the Champions League.
First question does Nani consult with Zola or was it a misunderstanding over Martin Taylor?
Second question why does GFZ rule out any more new players and a load arrive?
Third question how long does it take before the majority of these specially recruited players are match fit?
Fourth question with a team full of loanees what happened to our local identity that the Pozzos saw as vital?
All questions that are not negative and yet won't be asked by the fawners.

Nani does consult with Zola...Zola thought the inherited crop would be good enough but changed his mind after the first 2 games...the players we signed took a little longer than expected and we did not want to rush them as we were looking at the long term...the local identity is very important to us and always will be. The players will continue to be ambassadors of the club and we continue to reach out o the local community in the following ways (cue list of initiatives).

Not ridiculing your post by the way, as important questions do need to be asked. When November comes there may be even more searching questions to ask but I am not saying them on here as otherwise they'll have time to prepare!

Anyway should be good, look forward to Chris de Vics question about local talent, can't remember too many players actually coming from Watford now or in our golden era ( Cally for sure) in fact my first idol was Barry Endean, Chester Le Street County Durham. Did that matter? Not a jot.
As for the acadamy production line? Fabled.

The last crop of real local talent to make the first team was probably the Micky Benning David Pygall and Bill Barber not forgetting the Bateman brothers era.But ofcourse we were in the 4th div. then and boy how things in the game have changed. The play and transfer system operating in those days really made the players focused, not so good if you were a player.

This takes me back to the start of Dyches tenure to which I raised my doubts and there was an element that were aggressive in their objections.
I am not one to be cowed into submission, in any shape or form, but Dyche surpassed my doubts and I said so.
Now as it happens I like what GFZ. Is trying to do and I would say that those questioning his appointment and the Pozzos( who like it or not saved this club) ownership of WFC. So forgive me if I treat the knockers with the same contempt they showed me.
look forward to seeing you there Ginge!
